How We Approve Dentists
Nobody appears on Dentists We Trust by default. Every dentist goes through a vetting process that checks who they are, what they're qualified to do, and where they currently practice, before we put their name in front of a patient.
The Vetting Process
Application & Identity Verification
Every applicant confirms their identity and submits their details directly to us. We do not list anyone based on a third-party referral alone.
Qualification & Registration Check
We check the dentist’s registration body and registration number against official records, alongside their dental qualifications and where they were awarded.
Practice & Standing Review
We confirm where the dentist currently practices and review their standing with their registration body for any open sanctions or restrictions.
Peer Reference
Applicants supply CVs, certificates and, where possible, references from peers or colleagues who can vouch for their current practice.
Ongoing Monitoring
Listed dentists remain subject to periodic re-checks, and any report we receive from a patient is investigated and can trigger a review of their listing.
